“It's a good time for me in music right now, since the start of the year I have been very busy working on numerous projects. I have recorded a number of tracks, some of them will be a part of my album and some will be released as singles. The album is certain to be a very good one, the entire 5 Stars team is doing everything possible to make sure it comes out right,” said Iestro.
According to Clifton Lawrence, CEO of 5 Stars Recording, he believes that Iestro’s debut album will elevate him to a new level in the industry.
“I strongly believe Iestro will move up in the game once this album is finished and released. It’s going to be magnificent, all the songs on it are exceptional, the artiste wrote and recorded them with a lot of creativity and passion,” said Mr. Lawrence.
Iestro is also enjoying much attention with the videos for his singles When the World Turns and Nah Ease Up. Both videos were directed by Karl Durrant and are currently enjoying strong rotation on local television stations such as HYPE TV, CVM PLUS and RE TV.
“I am really getting a lot of love for my latest videos, the fans seem to love them a lot, and they are getting good rotation on a number of stations. Almost every time I hit the streets someone comes up to me and give me a positive comment about the videos.”
Iestro is getting ready to drop the music video for his biographical single, The Story of My Life.
“The next video I plan to release is for a song that is very dear to my heart it’s called Story of My Life. This song chronicles my journey in the music business from day one right up to now. When we did the video we went all out to make sure it captured the true essence of the song, because I wanted it to be as realistic as possible, so the people can see where I am coming from,” said Iestro.
