Chilando To Celebrate Birthday With A Bigh Bash In Mobay

Show Di Vybz recording artiste Chilando is accustomed to wearing many different hats in entertainment.

In a very short time the versatile singjay has built up quite an impressive reputation as an artiste and music producer in western Jamaica. Chilando is also a music video director and editor, to date he has directed and edited several of his own music videos and videos for other artistes as well.

“Everybody who knows me knows that I am dedicated to my craft, I love music and entertainment to the max. That’s why I try to learn about so many different aspects of the business and having knowledge about so many different areas of the music biz has helped me a lot in my career. It’s a lot easier for me to do many of things I need to do to get my voice out there and let the people hear and see me.” Chilando said.

Although Chilando is multi-talented he has no aversions about working with other producers, artistes or video directors.

“I’m aware of my talent and I know how to use it positively and that gives me the confidence to work with other music industry professionals in a very positive way. Most of my recent music videos were directed by me like Nuh Tek Box Up, Gal Dem Mi Waah and All Dem A Talk ft Darrio but I worked with Dameon Gayle on my Gwaan Gyal video, he’s a very talented director and I learned a lot from him too. I always welcome the opportunity to work with other producers, directors, musicians and artistes.”

Chilando says he is very pleased with the progress he has been making in the music business.

“As a young artiste it’s not easy to make a name in this game but I have to give thanks for my progress, I have a good manager and a good team working with me and that has help me to make a lot of progress in the business,” said the artiste.

On Friday July 19^th Chilando will celebrate his celebrate his birthday in style with his fans in Montego Bay at Donway Village which is located on the Mobay Hip Strip. A number of popular selectors from the western part of the island such as Dapa Black President, TC Insomniak, DJ Sean, Crazy Chris and DJ Alroy have been contracted to provide entertainment at the event. Chialndo’s birthday bash will be hosted by the Fresh Look Models and the IKR Models.
