Reggae
singer Dubkor recently inked a booking contract with Supreme Promotions.
The
singer who is known for roots reggae songs such as Veranda, Rasta Man Riding,
Same Routine & Little Love Story said that signing with Supreme Promotions
will help him and his band to reach a wider market.
“Supreme
is now handling all our bookings and promotions. We know that this company is a
well known professional entity that has a lot of connections both in Jamaica
and overseas, they have the ability to push us in the local and international
market place. We are looking forward to a very fruitful relationship with
Supreme Promotions,” said Dubkor.
Dubkor
also added “We also have our long time publicist Ralston Barrett back on board,
over the years he has done a lot of good work for us and we are confident that
he will continue to do more of the same or even better works for us. Having a
good team is very important and now that we have everything in place we know
the right results will come as long as we put in the work.”
Dubkor is currently in the process of putting together a television show called Reggaevolution Unplugged which will be aired on HYPE TV as of next month. The hour long show which will be hosted by Dubkor will feature several top Jamaican reggae acts performing live in a studio setting.
"One day I was talking to Johan Dawes of HYPE TV who is a big supporter of my music and he suggested the idea of doing TV version of our concert series Reggaevolution. The whole thing is a new experience for me, it’s somewhat of challenge but it’s a very nice vibe, I’m really looking forward to it.”
Dubkor and The Pikki Head Band recently performed at Western All School Jam in Westmoreland.

“The
vibe was nice in Westmoreland, it was a dancehall crowd but they were very
receptive to our music and for that we give thanks, we are always happy to
perform for each and everyone who is willing to accept the message.”
