She’s
talented, she’s ambitious, she’s bold and beautiful, look out world here comes
Prissy G!
This
talented young lady who hails from the parish of Hanover is currently one of
the hottest new acts in Western Jamaica and she’s looking to take career even
further under the guidance of her manager Felix Evans of SSMC Media.
Prissy G
made her musical debut in 2011 with a lovers rock single titled Rock My Boat.
Since then she has not look back, over the last two years she has performed on
a number of events in the west including the Jamaica 50th
Independence Gala at the Dump Up Beach, the Opening of Donway Entertainment
Complex, the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce Food Fair & Bazar at the
Whitter Village in Ironshore, Montego Bay.
Cognizant of
the fact that she has the talent and the necessary drive to make it big in the
music business Prissy G is determined to become a musical force on the local
music scene.
“Music has
always been a very huge part of my life, I began singing from a very tender
age, I can remember when I was a little girl and I sang in church people would
say what a little girl with a big voice, so I guess you could say I was born to
sing. I have been doing a lot of hard work in terms honing my vocals, my
writing and performance skills and I’m really making a lot of improvement and I
am ready to take on the music business in a very serious way, said the artiste.
Prissy G has
also spent a lot of time in the SSMC Media recording studio working on tracks
for her soon to be released debut album. Two of these songs, What’s Life and
Lets Party were recently released as singles.
“I recently
released two new singles What’s Life and Lets Party, both of them have received
a lot of props so far. I know these songs are really good songs and my team and
I plan to put a lot of promotion behind them,” said Prissy G.
Prissy G is
also working on music videos for both singles.
“The music
videos for both songs are currently in the works and should be ready for
release early next month,” she said.
Prissy G
recently kicked off her Meet Prissy G promotional campaign at Pier One in Mobay.
She gave away a number of promotional items including autographed CDs and posters
to patrons at the popular Mobay night spot before taking the stage to deliver a
spell binding performance which included songs such as Jlo’s Dance Again, along
with her own songs such as Lets Party, What’s Life and Earthquake.
The
promotional tour will see Prissy G making promotional stops in several major
towns across the island before the end of summer.
